Record with context
Begin with a quiet baseline. Log each question and leave a consistent pause. Record people, movement, microphone handling, external speech, radio activity, and device changes. Capture full sessions rather than only selected clips.
Review without prompting
Ask independent reviewers to describe what they hear before sharing a proposed phrase. Preserve disagreement. Repeated playback and suggested words can influence interpretation.
Use analysis carefully
Inspect the waveform and spectrogram on a copy. Document every processing step and compare with the original. A pattern on a spectrogram does not by itself identify a speaker or a paranormal source.
Test ordinary sources
- Compare with investigator speech and the master timeline.
- Check nearby conversations, broadcast fragments, handling, clothing, and mechanical sounds.
- Repeat control recordings under comparable conditions.
- Report uncertainty and missing context instead of selecting only a compelling interpretation.
