Protocol 01 / Audio handling control
Question: Can handling create the candidate sound? Record a quiet baseline, then log controlled handling, clothing movement, footsteps, and speech. Review anonymized segments independently. Compare descriptions to the event log; retain clips that do not fit as well as those that do.
Protocol 02 / Electrical source mapping
Question: Does a reading vary with position near a known electrical source? Without opening or modifying electrical equipment, measure at marked positions using the same range and orientation. Repeat each position and log nearby device activity. Compare readings against the baseline and instrument limits.
Protocol 03 / Visual artifact comparison
Question: Can lighting or camera behavior reproduce the feature? In a safe, ordinary room, keep camera position and settings fixed, vary one lighting condition at a time, and record control images. Compare original files for reflections, focus changes, and compression effects.
Protocol 04 / Environmental variation
Question: Does a temperature change follow airflow or HVAC operation? Place a sensor at a fixed location, record a baseline, and log normal HVAC cycles and door movements without changing the building systems. Repeat and compare timing, response, and location.
Record every outcome
Define the question, prediction, variables, control, repetitions, result, and limitations before assigning a classification. These exercises do not establish a paranormal cause.
